Clark Chasing Wonders
From thrill-seeker adventures to food trips, AirAsia’s #ChasingWonders campaign shows why Clark – poised to be the next premier investment center in Asia – is a bucket list destination.

AirAsia’s campaign recently featured Clark as a “must-stop destination” in the Philippines, as unforgettable experiences await just minutes away from the Clark Freeport Zone. Tourists could try the famous Puning Hot Spring and Sand Spa, and fly an ultralight plane, as well as experience Pampanga through the province’s addicting dishes.

Another #ChasingWonders video published in the social media account of AirAsia also featured the 22nd Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Festival held earlier this month at the Clark Freeport Zone.

Clark Development Corporation (CDC), which maintains the Clark Freeport Zone, is a subsidiary of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

BCDA seeks to boost Clark’s infrastructure and accessibility in the coming years with most of its big-ticket projects all set in Central Luzon.

The BCDA is one of the main agencies tasked to implement the government’s ambitious Build, Build, Build program. In the pipeline are the Subic-Clark Cargo Railway Project connecting the Subic Bay and the Clark Freeport Zone, the expansion of the Clark International Airport, and the development of the country’s first smart, green, and disaster-resilient city to be called the New Clark City.

On February 12, the BCDA and Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport and Urban Development (JOIN) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Surbana Jurong of Singapore for the full implementation of the New Clark City.

Soon, Clark will not only be a must-stop tourist destination, but a symbol of a modern Philippines.
